Admitted for elective Hysteroscopy under General anaesthesia as day patient in treatment centre. Building was clean and well maintained. All staff polite and professional. No-one appeared to be under utilised or over stretched; responsive and caring staff team. I was incredibly nervous after past issues; but completely reassured by my treatment and the care and competence of the staff. My consultant and anaesthetist were similarly professional and caring; discussing the procedures in detail and consequent results. After recent negative headlines etc about the NHS, I have felt compelled to review my very positive experience of Leighton hospital and Gynaecology. The process from my initial General practice Doctor appointment and subsequent speedy referral and treatment has been all completed within 8 weeks. I never usually provide reviews!!

I must say that the nurses at leighton where absolutly fantastic how they looked after my wife very caring and helpfull thank you

My grandaughter aged 7 was admitted last night following referral from GP. severe headaches and very high temperature with worrying signs. She was seen by 3 senior doctors overnight and the service and care by all the staff was excellent. her temperature is coming down and medication is prescribed and hopes to get home today. Thank you very much to all staff and we are very mindful of all the pressures on you at the present time
