Just had a minor operation carried out in a very professional manner. It was on time and all the hospital staff were helpful, friendly and a credit to the NHS. Thank you all Well done

Since being seen by a nurse and not a consultant all my appointments have been going downhill, having to chase every single thing from forms to tests and appointments - otherwise nothing will be done. I had spoken to someone from the office just to confirm my appointment and needing reassurance that it will happen (which it did not and having me to contact them again.) They were very rude and abrupt about me phoning my appointments several times which is not ideal for someone working in this field.

We had an ENT appointment with a consultant this afternoon. The HCA we dealt with a male, was a credit to the hospital. He was friendly, professional, and showed empathy. A female HCA who came to apologise for our long wait was also very professional.

I attended for an endoscopy today and was feeling very anxious about the process. However, the care and kindness shown to me by everyone I came into contact with was so reassuring. I was immediately put at ease and the procedure was nowhere near as bad as I feared. Everything was explained to me with great patience. I have to return for further treatment and feel grateful to know that I will be well cared for by lovely people.

Went to Urgent care this morning with my son , who had got paint in his eye and it was extremely painful. The receptionist was quick in taking details, we didn’t wait long for triage and they were very thorough. Went in to see the Dr who performed several tests and really examined his eye . Referred him to eye specialist and gave eye ointment and patches . There were quite a few people in the waiting room, but they seemed to get through them quickly and efficiently, we were very impressed and offered our humble thanks to them all

I left my adult son whilst I went to park my car. I sat in the waiting room for an hour having been informed that he had firstly been in to triage, then was with a doctor. The care was exemplary. When I was summoned to see him, he had an oxygen mask and a drip in his arm. He had een rapidly assessed as suffering with pneumonia. An ambulance was summoned to take him to Watford hospital where his excellent care resumed. How wonderful the team were. My son is now well on his way to a full recovery. We can't thank you enough for your superb care.

I had a lft today when we walked into the department we were greeted by the clinician who performed the tests with a smiling friendly face he carried out the tests professionally compassionately and with a lot of patience and most importantly a good bed side manner and a sense of humour please pass on our thanks he is an asset to your department

Extremely efficent reception, explanation and removal of growth on my back. Staff were friendly and accommdating, and on time. Post operative instructions were also clear and understandable.

Excellent reception from all staff and medical team. Would like to highlight how well I was received and to compliment the nurse who gave me my echo ecg today and how the Doctor I went on to see afterwards. She explained everything in detail and answered all my questions very calmly and patiently. Always receive excellent service when I attend this hospital. Thank you NHS

I was dreading having a colonoscopy after previous painful experience and although it wasn’t pleasant and it was very uncomfortable all the staff were kind, efficient and reassuring . Everything was done to make the experience bearable . I was so relieved the procedure went ahead on the date given inspite of a junior doctor strike. All the staff who work in the NHS need to be paid an amount that reflects their hard work and dedication. Thank you .
