Review titled Excellent care from Urgent Community Response Team

Mum has received excellent care from this team over the last week. Mum has a urinary infection and low sodium so she has received daily checks. The nurses have been so lovely and made mum feel at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. We are so grateful for their professionalism, help and support.

Community Physiotherapy Team. Great team that was able to help everyone, despite the various abilities of the participants. They very welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. I personally along with the others I believe definitely felt the benefits.

I am posting this on behalf of my wife. Since breaking my hip and two ribs in mid October this year I have been receiving ongoing treatment from the New Milton Community Nursing Team, each member of the team has been very supportive taking the time to explain details of all the care they were dispensing. This left me feeling more assured with any progress. Keep up the good work and thank God for the NHS. Being a joint effort I would also like to thank the following; 911 Ambulance team, admittance to the Southampton hospital, surgery dept, aftercare, discharge, care in the Community Team, Arnwood GP Practice New Milton, Kamsons Pharmacy New Milton. All contributed to my excellent treatment and I am now well on my way to a recovery.

I went to balance class to feel more confident with my walking. I enjoyed the social aspect of meeting other people similar to me. The girls were lovely who ran the class and provided lots of encouragement. I will miss going to this. I hope to start Steady and Strong classes soon.

Came out of hospital much better but frailty team kept eye. Mum felt tired but glad to be home glad to have nurses watching over. Deteriorated as salt levels went down and felt poorly quickly. Quickly sorted however. Nurses managed everything. Nurses absolutely amazing. So thorough ,caring, knowledgeable, professional clear, reassuring. Totally wonderful. Very helpful to carer too. So reassuring them coming in every day to monitor things which such care and helpfulness. Always knew what was going to happen and when. The whole experience was second to none. Thank you. Doctor visited also and extremely helpful and lovely. This service is brilliant and actually keeps people out of hospital, helping them recover in their own environment and home. Likely much quicker more efficiently.

My Mother in Law has had support from a range of staff with the Community Response Team. It has without doubt made all the difference in helping her recover at home rather than going back into hospital. As family and carers we couldn’t have done without their support
