I had a small surgery on this hospital and was a day case on Ward f. I found everyone to be lovely and really welcoming. Ranging from the health care assistants, the nurses, right the way through to the surgery staff. Everyone was really professional and checked in with me. They were a pleasure

I was super anxious prior to this visit. The team were incredible at being supportive, welcoming whilst also articulating clearly the clinical process, intervention and likely next steps. I was deeply impressed with the service

A brilliant service at the difficult smear test screening service. Was completely put at ease by the two women who treated me. Brilliant chair made the entire thing much quicker and easier. Highly recommended.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the staff at Ormskirk. I attended dermatology yesterday. The staff are all very busy but friendly. From reception right through to the doctor. The nurse and doctor whom I saw put me at ease, apologised for the short wait and explained everything thoroughly. I have always had great experiences at Ormskirk hospital.

For all of my life, I have been terrified of medical experiences, particularly blood tests. I get so scared, I often refuse help, even when I know it's best for me. I attended an appointment recently for something I have been particularly worried about and really struggling to deal with. I couldn't have come at a better time. The Dr and Nurse in the room with me were absolutely incredible and made me feel so at ease. I had attended on my own but I felt so cared for that it didn't bother me so much. They couldn't have done more for me, getting me drinks, a stress ball to squeeze and holding my hand. I cannot thank them enough, and just feel that they deserve so much recognition. Recently I have refused every procedure offered to me medically, but on this day, I had two quite traumatic procedures (for me). This is because I was relaxed and able to feel safe, like I was in such good hands. I am so grateful because I feel that both staff have enabled me to somewhat overcome this fear that has been controlling my life and for that, no thanks are enough.

I arrived early and was seen early. Very efficient and explained my symptoms was scanned and reassured. All the staff there were friendly and respectful. A truly professional department. (Attended Gynaecology 13/11/23). Thank you.

I was like to say what a great experience, I would rather not have had the experience in F ward, but I did, I would like to say thankyou for every one that looked after me during the day from beginning to end, to the different nurses, consultants, anaesthetist and caring staff involved. You were all so kind and helpful, thankyou.

I had an appointment for a minor surgery procedure at the clinic and was feeling quite nervous about this but the Dr and staff were all so lovely and communicated very clearly with me throughout the whole procedure. I felt reassured and calm throughout and they made me feel very at ease. Thank you to all the staff at Dermatology I was very grateful.

I just want to thank everyone who cared for my daughter yesterday,last night and this morning. She's never had an injury before and was so scared for her first surgery and absolutely everybody from the ward to the theatre kept her calm reassured and made her laugh and from one very overly emotional and scared mum I can't tell you enough how much I appriciate every single one of you! Thank you you're all amazing!

My daughter had an appointment today the doctor was prepared and already had a care plan. She was an excellent communicator had empathy and compassion and took ownership of the decision to arrange a preop appointment the very next day and my daughter was booked in for her procedure next week. An amazing experience in what has been a difficult health issue. This doctor is an asset to the team at Ormskirk and as a mother of four would advise anyone needing care to be seen by this amazing doctor. Thank you
