  1. Review titled Excellent

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by James - Posted on 12 April 2024

Was referred immediately by my GP and was dreading going due to horror stories of A&E in the media. Turned up at 8.30am on a Tuesday, less than 20 persons waiting, Staff friendly, Place clean and was given clear instructions of the A&E consultation process. Took my turn and was seen within 1hr and results within two. Top work and excellent.... It makes want to be ill so I can visits again :)

Staff have no compassion when it comes to dealing with anyone with dementia and just shouts and tells the person to shut up and get back to bed

  4. Review titled Fantastic care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Hazel Jackson - Posted on 04 April 2024

I was a patient between the A&E ward, Assessment Ward and Ward 42 over a 2 day period at the beginning of April 2024. The care between all 3 wards and departments was amazing. The staff were so caring and reassuring, particularly as I was so poorly when I was initially admitted. I truly couldn’t fault the care, attention and reassurance as I needed a lot of assistance when I first went in but not once was I made to feel a nuisance. I hope my thanks can be passed on to them

  7. Review titled Awful meals

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Mosfad - Posted on 17 March 2024

Tonight's food which was served to me is worse than what you'd get in prison. Wouldn't even serve it to the Russian army. Veg was rotten, potatoes were half raw. Would write more but nhs won't let me be honest

  9. Review titled Food made me ill

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Shamo - Posted on 17 March 2024

Tonight's food was utterly disgusting, sliced eggplant which looked like half eggplant half fish creature. Which then had been left outside rotten away for 50 years. The smell made me run to the toilet and be sick

  10. Review titled Reading off a screen

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Alex Lewis - Posted on 04 March 2024

Went to get my bloods done, unclear signs on where to line up. Ignored, then spoken to with distain. Saving graces were two lovely nurses who took my blood. Had a phone review today, the person on the phone was automatically rude, read off a screen. No humanity, spoke to me like I was stupid. Asked me unclear questions which I had to clarify and when I did talk about mental health they didn’t offer any service. Made me feel absolutely horrible all day. Never felt so belittled. Horrible service. I’m hoping to rearrange my appointment to Wansbeck as I don’t want to return to such a rude place. 0/10.
