What a great hospital in every way!! Cancer is no joke but it's great if you are treated at The Marsden you're in the best hands. From the moment you enter the building you are met with helpful volunteers who take you to where you have to go. I owe my life to the surgeons who performed my operation going above and beyond. The staff in both the critical care and the ward were amazing from the cleaners to the nurses to the catering staff. Thank you everyone for everything.

My father passed away today, I don't think he could have better care than he received from everyone who were so caring and thoughtful towards him and family in our final day with him

I would like to thank the 3 nurses that performed my prostate biopsy last Saturday afternoon. You were all kind, patient, caring and extremely professional in everything to did. Your support for me in being able to cope with the procedure was nothing short of outstanding and I would to thank you all wholeheartedly for it. I hope that this review is shared with all and can only thank you once again for you care and kindness, not forgetting that this was delivered on a Saturday afternoon!

  5. Review titled Brilliant practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My sister was treated at The Royal Marsden between 22/11 - 25/11 and the service we received and the professional practice on display was excellent. Staff at all levels were highly professional, supportive, caring, and empathic. I also got the sense that the hospital leadership team was equally brilliant as it felt like a unit working together, positively. Thank you, Royal Marsden.

  6. Review titled Brilliant… Caring.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

First visited in July 2021 - an extremely anxious patient. Without exception, EVERY staff member was warm, friendly and reassuring. It didn’t feel like my appointment was on a timer. I returned today for a review/ follow up - 11/7/22 - anxious for slightly different reasons. I was seen by the same Advanced Nurse Practitioner as last year, and really - it made all the difference. I left feeling listened to, considered, reassured and happy! Thank you

  7. Review titled Persistent Pharmacy Delays

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I have had 20 cycles of treatment and apart from the very first one, all the rest have been late, by 2 or more hours. Once again ‘delays in pharmacy’ are to blame. What are these persistent delays that cause such huge differences in the appointment times we are given every single time? I have no issue with any other department within the hospital but my treatment appointments are beyond a joke and I would like to know what is being done to resolve the issue as I know I am not the only one complaining.

Nurses on Clinical Assessment Unit are second to none. Caring and kind, highly intelligent and the best people on earth. When it matters most they are there and they are so professional. You couldn’t wish for better care. Thank you for your compassion and kindness Nurses of Friday 20th May 2022 Clinical Assessment Unit. You made a difficult day so much more bearable. You are cohesive as a team, well-led and responsive to personalised care. Please could the hospital management and directors personally congratulate the nurses who were on this day for their excellent patient-centred care. Heroes of reality - will find them here.
