Had a total hip replacement on Monday. The new centre lived up to its name. Five star treatment from all involved… the nurses, the surgical team, the physiotherapists. I may need my other hip fixing in the near future… I won’t hesitate in going back. Thank you to everyone.

I felt at ease straight away and this was the same throughout my stay. Staff were excellent and made feel comfortable and safe. My hip operation was excellently planned and executed from start to finish. The only negative I can say is the dinners (salmon crumble) was yuk better off sticking to sandwiches.

Offered appointment at Montague Hospital - very welcoming out patient area - all of the staff were friendly, professional, genuinely concerned, positive and humorous. Not nice to have tubes and cameras in your throat or elsewhere! but cannot fault the whole experience on this brilliant new department. Whilst everything is new - the staff make it even better - big enough to deliver expertise in a timely way small enough to care and treat you as a person! well done and thank you everyone, in a positive way I hope not to be seeing you again to soon!

From start to finish my experience at Montagu hospital was absolutely brilliant. The staff are really lovely and caring. My anaesthetist and consultant were amazing. I can’t thank you all enough for treatment I received.

Went in with pain in my hand & told i could book in but wouldn’t be treated as wasn't a minor injury Asked where they advised i should go ! They advised A&E … this is why A&E is always full ! If pain & swelling in my hand isn't a minor injury i don't know what is this isn't the first time they have turned me away for a minor injury. What is the point in this department

Excellent quick service in the urgent treatment center for my foot which I thought I had damaged. It was looked at very quicky and professionally. I was sent for an x-ray which revealed I hadn't broken any bones, also seen very quickly... I was given a diagnosis and some literature and exercise for my soft tissue injury... Thank you all for your kindness and excellent service... Took me longer to get there and back from home, than the time in the hospital... X

My child attended the minor injuries unit Friday 15th, he has additional needs and finds experiences like this very stressful. The staff on shift were brilliant with him, so patient and kind, they really seemed to understand his needs and the way they spoke to him instantly put him at ease. We’re very lucky to have such a brilliant efficient service locally. In a little over one hour we had been assessed, xray’d, reviewed, commenced the necessary treatment and got a referral to the fracture clinic. Thankyou so much

I was treated for duptyens contracture yesterday in the Rockingham Ward.The staff in the ward and operating theatre were all considerate, caring and professional explaining everything very clearly. Nothing but praise for everyone there

I visited the pain management clinic today and wasn’t expecting much really but the doctor made me feel like my issues were unworthy of his time. My pain might not have been as bad as some but his diagnosis was “get another job” I already struggle at work and have been looking for a while because the constant pain is a nightmare but he made me feel like I was wasting his time and just kept saying you’ll have to get another job, as an after thought he told me I could try steroid injections if “ I ‘“ wanted but that was it, I’m quite pain tolerant but this constant pain is relentless and getting me down and after he shrugged me off I left the building and cried I felt so low and let down with his attention. I didn’t even ask to go there my doctor referred me because he thought I warranted it I never want to go back there I will just go back to the constant pill popping to ease the pain
