I can't praise or thank the team at Urgent Care enough. The Nurses who treated the nasty burns on my foot over several visits were so skilled and kind that my foot has almost recovered. I'm really grateful to them.

Went for a colonoscopy staff were kind caring and made me feel at ease. Explained everything to me not felt rushed

Reception staff, nurse and Doctor were all fabulous. However, a sample of urine was taken within 10 minutes of my arrival. I then waited for four hours to be told that I did not have an infection. Surely a nurse or auxiliary could have called me to one side And explain this to me with any minutes of the test being done.

I came to the Urgent Care Centre with my Mum earlier today, 13 February. I wasn't totally sure what to expect but everyone we encountered was so helpful and friendly, from the lady who checked us in at reception through to the Doctor my mum saw. Current wait time was clearly shown (one hour) which was helpful guide but my mum was seen well before then. At a time where there is lots of less positive feedback about certain NHS services I wanted to say a huge thank you for your help, it is appreciated. Graham

I have had gynaecological concerns since before I was a teenager and have seen various gynaecologists over the years. When I was 19, I was told by a male gynaecologist that as a woman I have to put up with a little bit of pain so I dismissed my own symptoms seeing as the health professional had done so. However, due to a recent diagnosis of APS, I went back to gynaecology to request a hysterectomy to solve my gynaecological issues as I can no longer have any hormonal treatments due to my risk of clots and I absolutely never want children. I requested a female doctor this time but was given a male again and this appointment ended the same way. I was told that women just need to be told how their body works, no-self respecting gynaecologist would give a 25 year old a hysterectomy, and you'll want a family one day, even after explaining multiple times that I did not. This doctor repeatedly dismissed my feelings, told me I was too young to be experiencing any of the problems I told him about and made what I feel were countless sexist remarks. I didn't feel that I could fully explain the extent of my problems as for me he expressed his bias so aggressively. A doctor is someone you should be able to confide your personal problems to. I'm devastated.

My lift was delayed to collect me but a wonderful nurse stayed with me all the time. We had a good discussion about all sorts of things. She wouldn’t go for her lunch until I could leave wonderful care and a credit to the NHS.

I had to visit Newark hospital for a colonoscopy. I was very nervous but from start to finish - admissions to procedure the staff were second to none. So professional and caring from the surgeon to the nurses . Long may NHS survive and again thank you so much to all the staff that dealt with me.

After my visit to dermatology today I had the most wonderful Dr who was kind courteous and listened. I had the best care I’ve ever received and was really grateful for my treatment. From arrival to being seen all the staff are fantastic. A hospital to be proud of. Thank you to you angels .

First time I visited and used Newark Hospital and the experience was excellent. Everyone I came across seemed happy, which is a very rare occurrence these days and my examination and experience with both the nurse on duty and the Consultant was brilliant - was being seen in the Gynaecology Department. The Hospital was nice and clean; I was actually seen ahead of my timed appointment. I would highly recommend Newark Hospital and huge thanks to everyone for making my visit so good
