    Recently spent 5 days in Airedale for a broken ankle operation. The level of care from all departments was above and beyond any reasonable expectations. Anaesthetists, surgeon, doctors, porters, ancillary staff - all were superb. Even the hospital catering was excellent. The Airedale NHS staff can all be justly proud of the service and care they provide. All NHS staff deserve so much more praise and remuneration than the current Conservative Govt give them. Thank you from a very grateful patient.

    Recent few days in agh. The medical care could not have been better, despite being overloaded. Unable to leave separate review for catering which fluctuated, chicken dansak was nice and flavoursome, chicken korma was awful, watery and tasteless and unlike any korma I have had. Catering team should keep a closer eye and regularly dip sample, because their supplier is falling short with some food. Thank you very much to all medical staff, great work.

    I came to A&E with my mum via Paramedics, Everyone was absolutely amazing, really professional and my mum was seen and attended to promptly, very through. They were quite busy but still found time to see the patients had something to eat and drink over the lunchtime period, we cannot fault them and I’d like to thank them for looking after mum.

    I had an appointment for a heart scan but did not receive my appointment letter only a letter from the cardiologist telling me and my gp that I had missed an appointment. I rang them and was told they were having problems but that I had another appointment in 2 days time. Again I did not receive the letter but because I had called about the 1st one I did keep the appointment. Very strangely the letter for the 2nd appointment arrived the day after the actual appointment. Also my husband had missed an appointment with the diabetic department yet again because he did not receive a letter from them. He was then referred back to our gp instead. I contacted them but received a rather curt reply that it was too late to do anything about it as he had been referred back to the gp. It is a complete shambles and no one seems to care. All you get is either oh we are having problems with posting letters or it's too late and we can't do anything. If and when I get a letter about the results of my scan I will contact the heart consultant and tell him whats going on. They have both my email ad my mobile number so why can they not send me an email or a text message about the appointments. I do know why they can't.... It's because they can't be bothered to

    Surgical day ward all staff from Junior to Senior, surgeons and consultant very personable, caring and professional. Anaesthetist in particular friendly and reassuring. Thanks to you all .

    I attended Ward 20 the day ward for my surgery. I can't thank everyone connected with my stay enough for the excellent care I received from the Nursing and Theatre Staff, including excellent treatment I received with my recovery. Many Thanks to you all.

    I was brought into A & E early on new years day for treatment by ambulance, the whole staff cheerfully,, looked after all my needs,sorted me out and made sure I was ready for home, they were very efficent and polite , making us feel safe in there hands, to all the staff on that morning Me & my wife are really thankful. keep up your wonderful service you are apprieciated by all you look after.

    Spent 5 days as an inpatient , 3 on ward 9 and 2 on ward 19. Clinical staff were excellent ,support workers were very attentive and efficient and the housekeeping/ catering staff were the ' icing on the cake' ,definitely the unsung heroes of a very well run team .

    I was told by my GPS to go to A and E for EEG for chest pain and bloods waiting 6 hours now has the tests But no results absolutely full no one pushes themselves . 3 Ambulance drivers stood chatting spent more time walking up and down chatting .No wonder the NHS is struggling so much for a four hour wait rule. So glad I wasn't in pain like all the others .
