I attended the endoscopy unit at Dorset Hospital on 9th March in response to a referral by the hospital's Colorectal Surgery Dept. I was seen immediately by very pleasant nurses and was fully informed of the colonoscopy that I was to undergo. There was no waiting about and the whole procedure was very well managed displaying the care and attention of all concerned. The same can be said for my initial appointment with the Colorectal Dept.Thank you.

I was referred by my optician on good Friday I received a call on Easter Saturday and was booked in for the following Tuesday All the staff were efficient, friendly, caring and extremely professional and competent I felt in safe hands and was given clear information about my treatment plan I am extremely grateful and appreciative and cannot fault the service provided, it was exceptional

My wife took my 13 year old daughter to Dorchester Hospital A&E on 27/3/24 after my daughter had injured her hand. The staff were very efficient and helpful and the hand was x-rayed and doctors reviewed the x-ray then. The waiting time was not long. The next day my wife was telephoned to advise of the x-ray results and advice on what happened next was given. The service from dialling 111 to assessment was very quick and professional and my wife and I are very grateful for this. The NHS is a very important service for UK residents and this experience reinforces how lucky we are to have it. Thank you to the A&E staff working at the time.

I was admitted to the Medical Day Unit on 20th March. From start to finish, the staff made me welcome, ensuring that I knew what was going to happen and kept me comfortable all the time I was there. Fantastic!!! Everyone treated me like a human being, which is all I could ask for. The Radiologist (apologies for not remembering his name), explained what he was about to do, which set me at ease. I can't say Thank You enough for the way in which my day at Dorchester Hospital was handled.

Having my baby and Dorchester hospital was one of the best experiences of my life the staff at the hospital were absolutely incredible and couldn’t fault them in anyway shape or form I am so thankful for the lady’s that delivered my precious little boy and for the care after. Words literally can’t explain how grateful I am for the people in this department

Review titled Wonderful team at Urology today

I was at Urology today for a cystoscopy, which I was not looking forward to. However, the entire team was wonderful - from the check-in nurse to the team of three who did the test. They were full of a postive attitudes so I was completely at ease.They were ready for a laugh, interested in what I did (in line with why I was there) and allowed me to watch what was happening on the monitor. Fascinating stuff! The procedure was painless and I could almost say it was an enjoyable 20 minutes... well done.

I went into A&E at DCH on a Sunday morning with pneumonia. I would like to thank the staff who were exceptional, they were kind, helpful and nothing was too much for them. I had a brilliant experience with them. Always a smile on their faces when giving treatment, even in the middle of the night. I had an appointment today at Dorchester. On arrival at the department, I was met by an HCA who was intelligent, thoughtful, informative, polite and helpful – helpful in a number of ways too. On meeting the consultant was delighted at the care and attention I received. He had clearly read my notes carefully, asked very sensible questions, explained my situation extremely well, gave me a proper physical examination and asked for me to do related physical tests. Once completed he gave me excellent advice and reassurance. A top quality physician, and great to experience. Well done all!!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the staff at the A&E Department. I unfortunately dislocated my finger . The reception staff , doctor ,nurse and X-ray staff all amazing and polite , a credit to the NHS . Well done all of you

I attended early Tuesday evening with suspected kidney stones, I was in absolute agony, I was met with nothing but kindness by everyone through triage, the department doctors and nurses , ct scan, porter , I was home feeling much more comfortable within 6 hours, thank you everyone.
