I came in to do dental work from moment I came in through to the surgery and the surgeon (excellent)and post op all the staff were very pleasant, friendly, professional and supportive. They put me at ease and reassured me throughout. It felt personable like I was the only one they had to support.

Unfortunately I don't have good experience with Emerson Green Hospital. Exactly year ago I had my morthons Neuroma excision, surgery didn't go well, all the time I have severe pain which makes me unable to walk properly. On July I found out that neuroma is still there bigger and worse than before. I have been referred again to this hospital for second surgery. I am waiting 3 months, I received information today that I will have to wait couple of months more and they don't know when I am going to be scheduled. I have been referred as an urgent patient but I received information that they are not doing urgent surgeries. Surgeon on my appointment in September informed me that my surgery will be in November, hovewer the lady from booking team said exactly that it's not her problem what I was discussing with the consultant. On my pre operation assessment I have been informed that the surgery will be on December. It's looking like no one there is responsible for information. My condition is tragic, the pain what I have makes me unable to do my daily routine. During the conversation I asked the lady to phone number to the manager of the hospital but she said that there is no number, I asked for meeting in person, I received the same answer. So I asked her is there anyone who I can talk to ..she said no. On hospital website there is clear information saying that patient has rights to do complain on phone or in person. I don't understand why I have been treated with disrespectful and horrible way.

Really cannot praise this hospital enough,all the team wether doctor,nurses meals ladies they were all so kind and caring.Kept making sure I was ok before and after surgery.If you have a choice choose Emerson Green Hospital.Oh and by the way good was good too.

I had a hernia repair with a spinal injection, which was recommended because of other health issues I had no worries of the operation but was very nervous about the injection as I had one many years ago but I can honestly say the injection and the operation was carried out with no pain at all I cannot thank all team enough from the reception staff to the nurse who escorted me to my lift home, all was carried out very professionally, I would have no problem with recommending this hospital to anyone needing any treatment

Wow! Just had secondary cataract laser surgery and I can now see in technicolor! Just about the best hospital ever! So friendly, so clean and so amazing! Thank you so much for giving me my life back! I can now see to drive again! Our wonderful NHS at it's best. xxx

After waiting for what felt a very long time to be called in for my procedure I felt extremely rushed by the doctor undertaking it. Sedation was administered and there was no wait to allow it to take effect. No explanation of what each member of staff was doing. Procedure was stopped and then abandoned all together. I was then issued paperwork stating I had withdrawn my consent when the staff had chosen to abandon. Now awaiting a length wait for re-referral.

I feel compelled to write and say thank you - I was really scared about my procedure today, but the nurse who looked after me was just so wonderful. She totally calmed me down, held my hand and made me totally at ease when I got unexpectedly quite upset at the start of the procedure. A million thanks to her! Also, I was seen really quickly and everyone was just so professional. All the very best to the staff, great experience all in all, despite my very real fears and anxieties on arrival!

Had op as a day case. Can’t fault in any way. Efficient, caring, spotlessly clean. All you would want in that situation. Great!

October 2020 I had total knee replacement, NHS referral. My experience was excellent.. everyone was caring ,listening and very professional. In Spring 2022 due to long wait with referral for second knee ..(still waiting just to get to see the NHS physio Triage) As a 74 year old carer for my husband I couldn’t wait and opted to Self Pay, using my precious savings .Right Total Knee Replacement on 19th August 2022. I was more anxious this time knowing what I was facing but every step of the way I felt reassured. Same excellent experience. my concerns were listened to . Fantastic in every way from the catering staff to the consultants . It is also reassuringly so clean! Thank you all! I am working hard now on the rehab to complete the process. If you have no complicated medical history a great place for orthopaedics!

This was my 2nd visit, I am very pleased with the results. All staff are friendly , helpful and they made me feel at ease all the way from Procedure to after care . Nothing is too much trouble
