    Tried to book an appointment for urology by phone twice. First time they got all the patient details incorrect! Second time I managed to book it but when I arrive at the hospital for the appointment wasn’t booked. For the first time I contacted this hospital, it takes them 2 weeks to get back to me when I told them it was an urgent case and the patient cannot pass out any urine

    Without a doubt the best care I’ve received. Wonderful staff, kind, caring and go above board. My surgeon and his team are first class. I’m extremely grateful.

    From the moment I arrived for my surgery at the Spire Hospital,Bristol, I was greeted with friendly reassurance and professionalism. Each and every member of the medical staff from the surgical team to the day and night nurses were, from the outset, hugely caring, skilled, friendly and encouraging. I can honestly say that there is nowhere where I could have found better treatment or a more caring environment than the Spire Hospital, Bristol. G Barnes

    I only wish I could print the names of everyone who has helped me today, suffice it to say that every person I came in contact with from the person in front of the house the person who took me to my room the organizers of the menu and medications the nurses that solved even the smallest problems to the helpers in the theatre and the recovery rooms and the anesthetist and surgeon were superb and ooooh so professional, I have all your names you know who you are. Words can be cheap but I am sincerely grateful and will speak only in glowing terms about my experience, thank you.

    Every member of staff I came into contact with was very caring, cheerful and pleasant. I came away feeling that my wellbeing and comfort really matter to each and everyone of them. It didn't matter if they were dealing with paperwork, sandwiches, pharmaceuticals, physiotherapy or nursing, they were all great. A superb team. Many thanks

    The specialist we saw was fantastic, he and his receptionist were very helpful, caring and knowledgeable, we will continue to see them. The spire hospital itself though is horrendous! If you can by some Miricale actually get through to someone on the phone, it is a slow and frustrating process as no one seems to know anything. After about 5 days of trying I managed to get an Xray appointment booked and was given a price. Upon arrival for this appointment it seemed impossible to find anyone that knew who I was ment to see ( this also happened at my previous appointment). After my appointment I went to the main reception to pay in cash (yes, i know no one uses cash anymore) It was confirmed over the phone when I made the appointment that I would be able to do this. The receptionists were baffled by this, as if they had never seen paper money before. Clearly frustrated by everything I was trying to say to her the receptionist then recruited the other three receptionists to join her in her ambush. Whilst the four shouted at me from behind the desk so that everyone in the waiting room could hear they then decided I clearly couldn't afford to pay and continued to humiliate, belittle me and laugh at me. I left embarrassed and in tears. The Quote for my operation is a huge sum of money, £9000 of which is the hospitals fees. Maybe I am wrong to think that if im spending that much money I should be treated well. Completely disgusted by how I was treated and will not be going back.

    Quality professional care from pre assessment to post surgery. Very happy with level of service received. Staff were professional and caring on every level. Showed empathy, understanding and provided specialist knowledge. Would recommend and use again.
