The Operation was explained well and the nursing staff were always on hand to provide the care needed. The surgeon , anaesthetist and Physio explained every stage of the procure and recovery. The overnight stay was managed effectively with the night nursing staff always checking in when required. A week post Op and a call from the nursing staff checking on my progress was unexpected by a welcome comfort on the after after care. I am to see the District nurse next week who also phoned to confirm recovery was going well and provide care if needed. Overall a great Operation and so far the aftercare has been great.

I first came across this consultant at Orthopaedic&Spine hospital, from a list supplied to me by my GP in 2021, when I needed a total hip replacement. I was then referred to the hospital’s head consultant. The hospital is small and privately practicing taking in NHS patients, of which I was one. From my very first visit and meeting with the consultant, I was treated with politeness and dignity. Everything was clearly explained to me and I was given plenty of opportunities to ask questions, which put me completely at easy. The hospital is a calm and comfortable place. The staffing team carry forward the consultant’s ideals, with professionalism and friendliness. I had to return to the hospital in 2024. For another hip replacement. I felt very lucky to receive this first class medical care. I had a two nights stay and the service was just the same back in 2021, first class. I would highly recommend this hospital for anyone requiring orthopaedic treatment.

I had severe lumbar spinal stenosis. I came for surgery in February to decompress l3/4 and l4/5 When I walked in I was in severe pain and could only walk a few metres before having to sit down to relieve my symptoms. I had surgery on the day I was admitted, leaving on the following day. Immediately after surgery the difference was amazing. All the symptoms had disappeared. I was walking again without any of the issues I had only a few hours earlier. The brilliance of this surgeon and his team has literally given me my life back. I cannot ever express enough gratitude to him and all his support staff for the level of professionalism and care they gave me. Everyone working here are a credit to their profession. Never in my life have I been cared for so well during my short stay. I hope you all keep doing what you are doing for many years to come, you all are changing people's lives, giving them back hope and optimism for their futures. Thank you so much. If you need surgery for your issue and decide to use this hospital, you can be confident that you are in safe hands and that the standard of your care will be outstanding. I cannot recommend this surgeon and his team high enough. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Don't hesitate, use this hospital.

Recently had a full knee replacement, all of the procedure was explained to me and what to expect afterwards. After the op I was carefully monitered and asked if I had any pain, which I did not. All of the staff and the consultant were very caring and considerate, as stated earlier there concern was my comfort and well being.

I am now in my 6th week of recovery following decompression surgery conducted by an amazing consultant and his fantastic team at this hospital. Recovery is going well and I am following all the advice given by the team. The care and reassurances given by this amazing consultant and his staff has been exemplary and I cannot thank them enough.

One of the best hospitals.I can't thank you enough to Surgeon for the amazing surgery you performed on me.I was in such pain for long time and after your magic work I haven't got pain and living without painkillers.The world would be a much better place if all doctors were like you.Same time I wanted to say big thank you to all of your staff who was taking such good care of me.I felt like at home. Thanks from bottom of my heart for all you have done for me and wishing you all health, happiness and all the best in your future.

Having been diagnosed with a lumbar disc problem requiring surgery, I have nothing but the highest of praises for the Orthopaedics and Spine Specialist Hospital to which I was referred. From my initial consultation (when I was given a date for a decompression operation), through my pre-admission assessment, the excellent surgical and nursing teams and indeed all involved with my care, I was afforded the utmost of kindness and compassion. Upon my discharge following an overnight stay in an individual room with en-suite facilities, I was provided with pre-arranged dates for the home removal of my sutures by a community nurse and a follow-up consultation with the Consultant Surgeon. It is also fitting to note that one week after returning home, I received a telephone call from a senior ward nurse to enquire of my progress. Without doubt, this is an excellent hospital that is more than worthy of my 5-star rating.

This hospital sets the standards for all hospitals, efficient competent team with a great Team Leader. After my operation there was no pain, no soreness and regular follow ups by phone for months after the procedure.

I had 2 days in this hospital for a new hip ,the care and attention from my consultant and staff were absolutely excellent from start to finish.

Had difficulty with back pain and mobilising and was referred to see a back specialist for diagnosis. After consultation an operation for a decompression was advised. From the entry into the hospital to the exit I was met with efficiency, friendliness and support. Each and every member of staff conversed with me, and made sure I was made to feel settled into the environment. Everyone introduced themselves, and explained their roles. The room was warm and comfortable. The call bell was always on hand and was instantly answered. All the planned procedures were completed as advised, and I came away feeling very lucky to have been referred to such a efficient hospital. I will always be grateful for the care I received and will recommend to others the excellent way I was treated.
