I honestly cant praise the entire team at Loddon Vale highly enough - I have been a ‘regular’ for the past couple of months with a chronic illness - everyone from Receptionists to Nurses, Hca’s and Drs… I have never been treated so well! The GP I have been seeing is so caring and thorough and I have full confidence in her. She has gone out of her way to arrange numerous urgent blood tests and hospital referrals and kept me informed the entire time. Having previously been a patient at 2 nearby surgeries, as well as working in several, I can honestly say this is The Best medical centre. Thank you to all of you, you’re fab!!

The practice was brilliant in helping get my son an appointment today at really short notice. At around 4pm we went into the surgery after seeing the pharmacist and being recommended that my son need to see a doctor as had infected fingers. I popped in to get some advice on the quickest way that we could get him an appointment and within minutes the receptionist has managed to get my son an appointment to see a doctor. It was amazing that my son was fit in so quickly and seen to get the antibiotics that he needed. I would also like to thank the doctor who saw him. He was so friendly which straight away made my son relaxed and happy to show him the infected fingers. Thanks for such a great service and for taking the time out of what I am sure was a busy day.

I wanted to say thank you so much to the medical practitioner/paramedic who has been treating me. I have been unwell with a chest infection for the whole of August but this medical practitioner took the time to arrange for tests to be undertaken and took me seriously so he could find out what the best antibiotics I needed to treat my infection so it will finally go away. I also was able to get effective pain relief when I was in pain from all the coughing I have been doing. Before this I had to see an emergency Doctor whilst I was away in Bogner Regis and they did not take the time to try and find out what was wrong and instead just gave me any antibiotics which is why my infection didn’t clear up and I had been ill for so long. I feel I have received really great care from Loddon Vale Practice and I’m very grateful.

Recently we have had to bring my mum in for regular dressings on her legs. The nurses are all amazing, thoughtful, accommodating, caring & thorough. Thank you to all of them for their continued care.

I phoned the surgery at 8:30 needed appointment for my daughter who had woken up not feeling well. I was concerned as she had a temperature and looked very blotchy most unlike her. I wanted to bring her to the surgery not phone call, very professional receptionist said this was not a problem they would book her in that morning, I explained how worried I was, just over hour later saw great GP he reassured me and was back home. Thank you Loddon Vale.

Having gone into the surgery with concerns regarding my 90 year old mum very late in the day the receptionist was incredibly compassionate, kind and really proactive to enable my mum to see a doctor which I feel prevented another possible hospital visit for her. She is really appreciated and a total credit to the practice.

My Wife was told by a midwife that she must see her GP due to suspected mastitis. Wife calls the surgery to be told that she has to call at 8am the next day and that she must be bang on 8am as it is very important for her to get an appointment or she could become very unwell. So, the receptionist admitted it she needed to be seen but refused to book an appointment for the next day and essentially said tough luck if you don't manage to get one. What an absurd policy, even more so when referred by another NHS medical professional. Looks like it could turn into what would be a totally avoidable A&E visit. What an absolute farce.

Having got cancer, multiple myeloma, and having moved from North Wales they were able to arrange my continued treatment at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in record time. Reception has always been helpful and friendly. Given support help and advice. I use the nurses for my regular blood tests, excellent,always friendly and accommodating. Thank you

Telephoned for an appointment phone was answered in 15 minutes by helpful receptionist who took some details and was referred for a phone call back made within 2o minutes and appointment same morning with duty doctor who listened and was helpful gave advice. Referred onto the hospital. Always find all staff are polite.
