    Due to the apparent mis-management of the recent merger, it seems no longer possible to book appointments online. The information supplied by SMS about changing the GP practice name online was wrong and bore no resemblance to the actual options. Their note to contact support and not them if there are problems is horrendous given that it is them who have created this mess. Does no one bother to do things properly anymore? This does not bode well for any treatments - I'll be going direct to the local hospital in future.

    I do not know how many times you can mess up until you actually change. Stop telling people that you are working under pressure because of shortage of staff. If your staff are good, I do not need to write this review and yes you will be getting a complaint letter off me too. Who ever in your team who does patient referrals should win a medal for the most rejected referrals. This person managed to get my referral rejected 3 times because she did not filled in the Proforma form which was sent to her by the team she has been referring to on several times. Before you asked, I have spoken to the team who keep rejecting the referral. Now my referral is for definite been rejected now. Thank you for doing your job so well that you certainly does not care about the patient. If you did care about the patient, you would have picked up the phone and call to ask why was the referral been rejected so many times.

  3. Review titled you don't get to see a GP

    Utterly disappointing experience. Having done an e consult and asked to attend the surgery I was given an appointment with a physician associate and not with a GP. They instilled absolutely no confidence in me, first not having been aware of the e-consult and second not asking questions about one of the key areas I had attended for. Smallfield surgery has some great GPs, what a shame they have gone down the route of physician associates. They are simply not the same as the GPs and should be avoided.
