I am having persistent issues with my hearing (under 45). Pharmacist told me to see the doctor, I did the online form and the response was not to give me an appointment but to refer me to a pharmacist. This is the first time I’ve used my doctors for 18months as my last experience with them was so draining, we’ve used private instead at great cost to avoid using them since. With my job at risk of redundancy, I need to return to NHS care - first time I try them again this happens. This practice only seems interested in getting rid of patients to reduce workload as much as possible.

I needed a non urgent “face to face” appointment and was offered one within a few days of my initial telephone call. I was advised to call before then if the condition worsened and I could be offered a “same day” appointment. The GP I saw was attentive, considerate and took time to really understand the problem. There are no on line forms to complete to obtain an appointment! Reception staff are caring and attentive.

I have had great care and attention from the practice each and every time I have needed them. The online form is simple and must be completed within a certain time frame of the day. If you have an urgent matter, you just need to call the friendly receptionists who will process your request. The GPs are splendid and the fact you can get an appointment at the weekend or online is fabulous for those who work. I cannot fault the practice in its efforts to treat their patients who need it. You should all be proud of the service you offer.

This practice has an online system which doesn’t work for anything other than non-urgent concerns. My son had a nose bleed and was coughing up blood for the 2nd time in a month. We previously went to A&E who advised us to get an urgent same day appointment with our GP if it happened again. I did the form, called and was told it would take a while to get to it. It was eventually categorised as urgent and I got a message saying someone would call me, the doctor called but hung up so quickly the call didn’t even ring on my phone (I was watching it diligently despite being a full time working Mum). No appointment time had been specified. Got a text to say they’d called and I missed it and they would call back ‘if time allowed’ No call all day, the phone lines unmanned since lunchtime, absolutely shameful negligence.
