Following an operation I had an issue that was dealt with very speedily . The receptionists I dealt with were very helpful and took the matter seriously as I was in pain . The doctor was reassuring and understanding .

Need to arrange appointment for my Father. Caller number 15 in queue at 08.45 and still am at 09.05. Tried eConsult as directed on surgery website… no capacity for eConsult for surgery at 08.55…. Is this why I’m caller number 15 How can patients contact GP when both avenues have no capacity ?

  4. Review titled Unhelpful and poor patient care

I telephoned the surgery to follow up on a request for a physio referral as the link to the self referral form which should be on the surgery website was not. After waiting for 1 hour the call was answered. I was told the link was on the website - not!! and then the Receptionist went to ask another member of staff who said the link was on the website - not!! After getting the Receptionist to look at the pages with me to convince her it wasn't there I was asked to google it! After doing that whilst keeping the Receptionist on the call and not being able to find the link I asked for the link that was so obvious (not!) to be emailed to me. I was called back much later in the afternoon and told to google Queen Mary's self referral - no link sent. Guess what I googled it and there is no link to click on. Such shoddy service and I now I am left trawling the internet to find the link myself when, according to the Surgery it was so easy to find, they could have surely sent it to me??

  5. Review titled Shocking experience

Completed an online e-consult and told i would recieve a call 48 hours later. Called on closing 48 hours later and told i would 100% recieve a call from the doctor. To my surprise no call. Had to wait an entire weekend to call on the Monday to be told that ahe called me and i didnt answer which is utrer rubbish as i was with my phone all evening on the Friday. Receptionist completely unhelpful and im left with no call and no appointment. Usually i wouldnt mind but its related to my mental health and im left with zero help. Will 100% be changed mine and my entire families care to a different practice.

  7. Review titled Dismal

i rang this evening (16/03/2023) to speak to a gp or nurse practitioner, re a condition i have that has been ongoing for over 3 months. i was offered 'a slot' for the end of march as the earliest available! the receptionist was unable to confirm whether she felt that this was acceptable. i was given the option of completing an econsult by 6pm for the gp to consider for tomorrow, ring at 8am tomorrow to book a return call or ring 111 if urgent, even tho NHS England has insisted that surgeries are now banned from insisting patients requiring help must ring back, something the receptionist claimed she knew nothing of! shambolic!

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I have now rung through for a telephone appointment with a doctor re my blood tests on 4 occasions as requested in a text. Each time I have held on for over an hour even though 6th in the queue each time to be cut off. I give up.

  9. Review titled Frustrating

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by William Steel - Posted on 20 March 2023

On the 15th of March I phoned the surgery to make an appointment to see the doctor. The answering service told me that I was 10th in the queue. Within an hour and a half I had reached no1 in the queue. Here I stayed for the next hour. Eventually in despair I hung up and attended the surgery. The receptionist was very apologetic and advised me to contact the doctor via an e consultation, which I reluctantly agreed to do. After leaving the surgery the receptionist followed me out and told me that there an available consultation with an out of hours Doctor that evening which I gratefully accepted. I appreciate how busy all the staff are at the surgery, but it beggars the question either they have taken on too many patients or do not have enough staff, it's a simple equation. I have been with this surgery for over 40 years and have always found the Doctors and staff fabulous, obviously something is going wrong somewhere. It gives me no pleasure to raise these points.

  10. Review titled On hold for over an hour and a half

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Andy Wilsdon - Posted on 07 February 2023

The doctor left me a message asking me to call the surgery. After being on hold for over an hour and a half and asking to speak to the doctor concerned I was told they would ring me back later. I wouldn't mind if this was a one off but it happens nearly every time I need to speak to someone.
