  1. Review titled The service has detiorated dramatically since covid

This was a practice that everyone spoke highly about. Now people are shockingly disappointed. I have 2 small kids under age of 5. The way their care has been neglected is appalling. Iv had many negative experiences and have decided to leave this practice. Therefore leaving a review. Online consultation response you hear from them after 48hrs. Then you book yourself a telephone appt . If they think it's urgent approx 5 days wait otherwise it can be 14 days wait for a telephone call. My daughter recently has clearly contracted throat infection from myself. I got antibiotics by calling 111 at the end from pharmacist which shouldn't have been the case as GPs should be doing this. So my 3 yr old hasn't bn eatingn for a wk on and off fever swollen tonsils iv reported it is likely she's contracted infection from me as throat infection is highly contagious and may require antibiotics urgently. Ofcourse a child not eating should be cause for concern. But again and had to wait 48hrs to hear back then the option to book face to face as I had complained that i need to be seen by a dr due to the last incident. They offered me a school time over text message in 5 days which isn't a convenient time I have another child to pick up from school. Poor communication with patients. Not even a phonecall. Few wks before I took my 5 yr old similar symptoms I was given Piriton by the nurse practitioner. she also had on and off fever with rash and again sore throat. She had these symptoms before me. Then after I was told I had a throat infection. So seeing a dr seems to be very difficult here you get seen by a nurse practioner instead and not sure if the right medication is being given if we all have had the same symptoms in the house. But everyone being given a different treatment. I got antibiotics from 111. My daughter got piriton from barkantine. And they have recovered for a week and unwell again. Do I bother contacting for a a 48hr response to give me a call after another week or 2. No thanks I cannot neglect my daughters health through this practice any longer. I have previously worked in this building before. I am very shocked and will be moving myself and my children out of this practice.

  2. Review titled Poor service

I wanted to switch to Bupa insurance, it was my first time to use private insurance. I need to ask the NHS GP to fill in a medical history for me. The barkantine has been filled for more than two months and has not been filled yet. . . Rencently I had two moles removed in another country. When I came back, I wanted to ask them to help me remove the stitches. They told me to prepare all the documents. I said I didn’t have the documents and it was just to remove the stitches. Then they transfer me to another person, and told me: Different GPs are responsible for different things, and they are not responsible for removing the sutures. . . ?? Even if I took the trouble to find the documents, they would not be responsible for removing the stitches. What a terrible experience. A year and a half ago I thought this place was very good, but it's getting worse and worse.

  4. Review titled Not able get the GP service when I need it

Rated 2 stars out of 5

The online consultation appointments take 3 weeks to get a date and if an inperson diagnosis is required then it take even more time. I have been trying to consult the GP immediately as the prescribed medication isn't helping much, but it takes forever to speak to someone.

  7. Review titled Impossible to book an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 July 2023

I was trying to book an appointment. Tried online appointment option, but it said practice has no appointment slots that can be booked online. (is that even possible?) Then I called the hotline, no one would ever pick up the phone or automatic system said it is closed. (even tho the website said it is open) I may consider to join another practice instead, even tho it could be hassle.

  8. Review titled I’m begging you, please check my newborn

Rated 1 star out of 5

Missed my child 8 weeks check and vaccine. We called them for a month and every week we call them. Until now, my child is 10 week old, they still say they will call us back on the day we called them ( which never happened). Can anyone suggest us what to do with my child vaccine and 8 weeks check? As how can we get it done? We are depressed and stressed about it. Especially they keep saying they will call us back. But it’s been a month, we never hear back anything.

  9. Review titled They are just a joke!

Rated 1 star out of 5

Average waiting time for the phone to be picked up 60 minutes. A person who barely speaks English will pick up the phone. Rude receptionist wanting to know the exact problem otherwise she will not book you in, apparently a doctor can be specialised in Women Health but you cannot say Women Health as a reason of your appointment. Then being offered a phone appointment on the 7th of August! Which means in 3 weeks time. They do not do face to face appointment because of covid. The World Health Organisation declared the pandemic ended while ago! if you look at them online they are accepting new patients even if they are not able to look after the one they have already!

  10. Review titled Taking advantage of Covid times

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 23 July 2023

It’s impossible to get an appointment. First you have to go through the long process of making an online appointment, then the doctor will call you after about 2 weeks, then they’ll book a face to face appointment after 2 more week. All in all, you’re waiting a month for an appointment. To top it off, the doctor called 2 hours after the appointment time, as I was at work I couldn’t pick up, but the Dr didn’t even attempt to call a 2nd time or try the alternative number. It’s a shame that the surgery has gone soo downhill especially as soo many of us took part in the ‘Save our Surgery’ campaign when they were being threatened with closure.
