I have been helping out a 76 year old chap in my village who has numerous medical problems, and I feel that I must publicly thank all of the staff and doctors at the Rowhedge Surgery for going above and beyond what is normally expected. Every time I contact them, which at the moment is every other day I get nothing other than their help, understanding and kindness. My daughter also uses this practice and has nothing but praise for the way she is dealt with. If only every health & social care professional was this good.

From the initial phone call to book or speak to a doctor or other health professional, through to your actual appointment, staff are always courteous, respectful of your worries and helpful. I have said on many occasions that I could not possibly move as I would never find such a first class surgery as Rowhedge again. They are quite simply ‘the best’ and I am ever grateful that they are my surgery.

I got a appointment at 10:40 and still was seen at 11:30. Almost an hour later after the appointment time. Whats the use of giving a precise time then? I was here 15 mins before the appointment and checked in Above all getting an appointment itself is a pain.

Dear Mr Jha, We were very sorry to read this review and hear of your recent dissatisfaction with our service. Hopefully we can address your concerns in this response. We can only apologise that you were kept waiting for 30 minutes after the appointment time you were given. We do our very best to see patients at the allocated time but sometimes are delayed due to circumstances outside of our control. We have spoken to the nurse practitioner with whom you had your appointment and she is sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. On this occasion the health care assistant whom she was supervising had a problem with the ECG machine and this needed to be rectified immediately, before a procedure could be performed. On reflection the practice could have informed you of the unpredictable delay and we will look at ways to improve communication when clinicians are delayed in future. We note that you were subsequently comprehensively assessed, diagnosed and treated accordingly and trust that you were satisfied with the clinical care you received.

Been here for 36 years , everyone is very friendly, professional and person centred. Always helps with any problems you have, will go above and beyond to help where is needed Recommend this practice to everyone

We feel very lucky to be cared for by the team at Rowhedge surgery. They provide an outstanding level of care with high levels of accessibility for appointments. Every person I have ever spoken to at this surgey is kind and helpful. During appointments the doctors are so helpful and considerate, I have never felt rushed though I know they have such a hectic schedule. This is a first class service provided a a first class team of professionals.

Really nice practice, team are friendly and welcoming. Reception staff do all they can to help and will try to get you in if it really is urgent for that day, even if they need to call you back etc. The GPs are all friendly and considerate. You can usually see the same gp as most of the GPs have been there for years. One gp there I have seen for the past 10 or so years. I have been registered at the practice for 25+ years and I have never had an issue. I have a long term health issue and they always help me. The consistency of care is good. The pharmacy/dispensary team are really helpful and go out of their way to help. The only downside is that the inside is starting to look a bit worn and shabby but the care/treatment is 10/10. I think the issue is more that the village is outgrowing the surgery in terms of population but they are working hard to keep up with demand. The staff don't stop and are always on the move, but you never feel rushed. Wouldn't register anywhere else so I guess that says a lot. They're a lovely team of people.

Having presented with multiple health problems, Rowhedge Doctors and staff always go above and beyond to help resolve these issues, keeping you informed at all times, never fobbing you off, despite being under immense pressure themselves. I am ever grateful for the care and attention given to me. I could never move as I would never find such an excellent surgery elsewhere.

I took my daughter to see the Doctor as she has been unwell for a few days now & the Doctor was very thorough with her. I have been at Rowhedge Medical Practice for about 15 years, & I have always managed to get an appointment for either myself or my daughter. All the staff from Reception, Dispensary, the Doctors & Nurses are all friendly & put you at ease, & are extremely thorough when you are seen. The Practice is always clean & looks tidy. As a rapidly growing village, we are so lucky to have this brilliant surgery.

All staff are very polite and helpful , even though they are no doubt under a lot of stress and pressure they are still very helpful and have helped me a lot through a very hard time in my life .
