Squeezy helps men and women with cystic fibrosis (CF) remember to do their pelvic floor exercises and to do them in the right way. The app is endorsed by the CF Trust.
Who is it suitable for?
Squeezy CF is suitable for men and women living with CF who want to exercise their pelvic floor muscles.
Coughing and clearance techniques that people with CF use every day can strain the pelvic floor, increasing the risk of incontinence and pelvic pain.
The app is particularly aimed at people with CF who are seeing a specialist physiotherapist for problems connected to their pelvic floor muscles.
How does it work?
Squeezy CF reminds you when you need to exercise and you can record the number of exercises you've completed.
It comes pre-set with a standard set of exercises, but it can be personalised with a programme set by a specialist physiotherapist.
It has visual and audio features to help you with your programme.
You can share your exercise record with physiotherapists to help them decide on further treatment programmes.
