The myGP app lets you book GP appointments, order repeat prescriptions and set up medication reminders on your smartphone.
You can add family members to the app to help you take care of them, too.
Who is it suitable for?
Any patient aged 16 and over who's registered with a GP in the UK.
How does it work?
With myGP you can book and cancel your GP appointments, receive appointment reminders and add the details to your calendar.
If your practice supports the service, you can order repeat prescriptions online once they have provided you with your NHS online credentials.
You can monitor the medication you're taking and share information with healthcare professionals.
The app also makes it easier to care for your loved ones. You can add children and elderly relatives to the app and arrange their appointments and prescriptions.
There are tools that let you track your weight and blood pressure, and help you take better control of your health and wellbeing.
