We provide clinical advice, support and information - directly to the sufferer or indirectly to the healthcare professional/carer - on continence and the treatment and management of symptoms of bladder and bowel dysfunction, including incontinence. Bladder and bowel-related symptoms affect people of all ages.
Where symptoms cannot be treated they can, in many cases, still be improved. The continence advisor will advise patients in their own home, or care home, or in clinic if a specialist assessment or intervention is needed. We ensure that continence products are supplied to patients in their own home or care home and that where products are needed, they are appropriately selected.
