Minor injuries unit

This Department is managed by Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust

Honiton Minor Injuries Unit is run by the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. 

The unit is nurse practionner led with support from doctors both in and out of hours and is open from 0800 until 2200, seven days a week. 

X-ray provision is:

  • Monday: 9am - 5pm, 
  • Tuesday: 1.30pm - 4.30 pm,  
  • Wednesday: 9am - 12 noon,
  • Thursday: 1.15pm - 5pm 
  • Friday 9am - 5pm.

Outside of these hours, staff are able to direct accordingly where X-ray may be unnecessary, X-rays can be deferred or Emergency Department review if necessary.
