Mum: Ward 20

Mum was admitted to Ward 10 after being in and out of hospital over 2-3 months, The room she was in was clean and tidy, staff were cheerful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. I felt safe leaving my mum in hospital. They supported myself and my Dad after the decision was made for mum to be transferred to Palliative Care team and assisted Dad in getting Mum home with End of Life care in place. Thank you to all on Ward 10, for everything you did for us xxx

Ward 70 - worst ward ever

My father was sent to this ward from AMU. The ward is severely understaffed, however the staff they do have are rude and unhelpful. Waiting forever for a bed pan despite suffering from diarrhoea. No one to check drips and stats, medication not given. Equipment lost. No-one to explain what was happening, made to feel like an inconvenience for asking about wellbeing, possible discharge etc. Didn't get father out of bed at all in over a week, then said he couldn't go home because he wasn't mobile - he was when he went in!

Suffering from diabetes, was still able to eat unsatisfactory/unhealthy food - why is this?
