You can talk to PALS who provide confidential advice and support to patients, families and their carers, and can provide information on the NHS and health related matters.
The PALS service was set up in AWP in March 2008 and although based in Bath NHS House, Bath, operates Trust wide.
The PALS service is in place to offer information, signposting, advice and guidance in the first instance to service users, carers, family and friends and also to staff.
Enquiries range from simple information requests, directions or advice, to the more complex concerns from those not wishing to complain but feeling the need for impartial input to find resolution.
The team aim to work in partnership with external organisations as well as staff across all services to resolve concerns and promote service improvement; also signposting to other support services for example linking with carer involvement processes and the Public Protection and Safeguarding Team.
The service is a free, confidential and impartial service that works to resolve a situation as quickly and smoothly as possible.
