Crosby House is the oldest GP surgery in Slough, previously run from a small house (the gardeners’ house to Lord Baylis), modernised and expanded in 1991, with an additional extension in 2004. We have recently undergone renovation this year which has gone down well with patients and staff alike. We care for 11,000 patients with 2 full time GP partners and 4 salaried GPs, along with 3 practice nurses and more than 15 other staff. We are a GP Training practice and typically have 2 doctors at any given time training to be GPs.We are a busy practice with lots of patients with various health issues, particularly diabetes.  We pride ourselves in providing the best care to our patients and welcome suggestions and complaints to improve the service we provide. Our ethos is to empower patients to take full control of their medical problems and assist them to live healthy long lives. We run regular diabetes and asthma clinics as well as helping patients manage their hypertension, heart disease and other health issues. Our Quality & Outcomes Framework scores have been consistently amongst the highest in the UK. The doctors and nurses have different special interests including diabetes, steroid injections and dermatology. We also do extended hours during evenings and weekends as part of the Prime Minister’s Challenge Fund and we run the “Central Cluster” with other  practices seeing patients at Crosby House Surgery after normal opening hours.
