South Tyneside Lifecycle Primary Care Mental Health Service
South Tyneside Lifecycle Primary Care Mental Health Service incorporates the provision of IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) mental health services across the entire age spectrum including the 0-5 Early Years, Children and Adolescent (Tier 2 CAMHS), together with South Tyneside Talking Therapies for adults with mild to moderate mental health difficulties. This exciting six day service offers extended late evening appointments Monday – Thursday and with Saturday opening. The main base is at Cleadon Park Primary Care Centre with appointments offered to clients at Flagg Court Primary Care Centre, Monkton Hall as well as other venues across the borough.
Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust will continue to provide services to children and young people with severe and complex mental health difficulties via its Children and Young People Services (CYPS – Tier 3 CAMHS). We will work collaboratively to ensure children and young people’s mental health needs are met by the most appropriate service.
How to refer
0-15 Years – A referral form for this new integrated service is now available to incorporate access for children and young people. The referral form will be distributed to all stakeholders (included with this newsletter) and a number of publicity events will take place in due course.
For all referrals over the age of 16 Years please continue to encourage clients to self-refer, or use the new referral form.
