Rowthorne is a registered provider of living accommodation for people who require personal care. Everything we do is driven by the needs, abilities and aspirations of our clients as far as is practicable. We are committed to the principle of consultation and full involvement of clients (or their representatives). We provide services to older people including those who have physical and sensory support requirements.
The property is in a residential area between Alfreton and Swanwick. It has beautiful private gardens and lies at the heart of the community in the countryside of Amber Valley.
We provide a range of health and social care support in partnership with other agencies. We offer a regular programme of activities, hobbies and leisure interests. This includes the opportunity for people to participate as fully as possible in local community activities.
We support peoples right in care including their continued links to participating as a citizen of the wider community and to have emotional and social needs accepted and respected.
Safeguarding the residents who choose to live at Rowthorne is paramount and procedures are in place to protect vulnerable people, and by adapting an open and honest culture, we ensure clients and representatives feel able to raise any concerns with confidence and feel reassured that matters will be addressed.
Everyone choosing to live at Rowthorne will be have a support plan as a working document to identify their health and welfare needs, appropriate treatment, education and social needs, preferred daily routine, likes and dislikes, dietary requirements, their interests and how they like to be addressed.
We provide good training for our staff and work to ensure they have the appropriate skill mix to meet the requirements of those who make Rowthorne their home.
We have procedures to ensure personal data is secure.
