Orchard House in the village of Harwell near Didcot, is skilled in a wide range of specialist community-based transitional rehabilitation.
Orchard House has eight en-suite rooms and one studio apartment to allow for more independent living, with wheelchair access throughout the building, a training kitchen for residents, therapy room and garden with patio area.
The centre is within walking distance of shops, clubs, a church and sports facilities. Residents can also be supported to attend the local college.
Orchard House is a Headway Approved Provider 2016-18. All clients have their needs fully assessed in order to establish a vision for care that benefits them, for both respite and more complex long-term needs. Staff are experienced in the objectives of the mental health act, as well as being trained in acquired brain injury.
