Visiting information

Standard visiting times for adult wards – from 3pm to 4pm and evening visiting usually between 6:30pm – 8pm. Visitors are advised to contact the ward directly for specific times. Visits may be allowed out of hours in exceptional circumstances, at the ward manager’s discretion.

Maternity wards, children's wards and critical care units have their own visiting rules - details are available directly from the wards.

The number of visitors at the bedside should not exceed two.

Visitors are asked to use the alcohol gel hand rub that is provided on entering and leaving a ward.
