Patients must be seen by a GP and referred for this process. Due to the nature of the service your name will be placed on the waiting list and once sufficient numbers are reached to provide the clinic you will be contacted with a date

Primary care counselling service - Primary Care Mental Health Nurse

This is an attached service provided by 2gether trust. The Primary Care Mental Health Nurse attends weekly. Patient must be seen by a GP to be referred to this service.

If you require counselling there are a variety of services that you can self refer to:-

1. Referral to Let's Talk - this is a free service provided by the NHS who offer guidance, courses and talking therapies which will give you the skills and techniques to manage stress, anxiety and depression. Leaflets are available from the waiting room.

Electronic Prescription Service

This GP offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or "nominate" a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you nominated. this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
