Appointment Booking

When you ring for an appointment the receptionist may ask you what the problem is. The receptionist is not trying to be awkward of nosy but is merely trying to find out the most appropriate course of action to take to deal with your call most efficiently. On many ocassions we find that an appointment has been made with a Doctor when a simple telephone call from a Doctor may have been more appropriate. We believe that this could be due to a lack of information received at the first point of contact and are trying to reduce unnecessary use of Doctors appointments and also minimise inconvienience to you, our patients. We understand that not all patients feel comfortable discussing issues with receptionists and if you do not wish to that is fine.
