Overview

Registering at the Practice

IntraHealth operates an Open List Policy. Registering or changing doctors is easy and can take only ten minutes.

Booking a Routine Appointment

Our appointment system allows you to book a routine appointment by telephone or calling into the Practice. You can also book a telephone consultation with a doctor or nurse.  The receptionist will take a message and contact number.

You can express a preference to see a particular clinician when you book an appointment.  Our system also allows patients to book six weeks in advance.

Cancelling Appointments

Please notify the Practice as soon as possible if you cannot attend your appointment so it can be offered to another patient.

Home Visits

If you require a visit from a doctor to your home, please inform the surgery before 10am and give the receptionist the precise nature of your illness and the doctor will make a house call the same day.

Home visits should only be requested when the patient is too ill to attend the Practice and could only be moved by ambulance, not because of non-availability of transport.

Change of Details

If any of your details change i.e. your address/name or contact number, please inform the surgery straight away.
