Patient Participation Group
The practice holds a Patient Participation Group for patients of the practice on the second Wednesday of every month between the hours of 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm.
The patients manage the group themselves and organise speakers to talk on topics relating to healthcare. They also discuss the service that is provided and provide feedback to the practice when necessary, likewise the practice can keep the group up-to-date with changes that are likely to take place in the future. The group is not a forum for individual complaints and should be directed through the appropriate channels i.e. the complaints administrator of the practice.
Refreshments are organised by the group who charge a small fee to cover the cost.
It is recommended that patients contact the practice first who will advise on the date of the next meeting. Patients who are interested, should report to reception on arrival and they will direct them to the appropriate room on the ground floor.
