Felton Surgery is a small family practice. Our vision is to provide safe and effective care to our patients.

We have introduced an early evening surgery at  the practice since the national patient survey enabling us to provide more appointments and more choice.

Felton Surgery is a dispensing practice enabling the majority of patients to pick up their medication from the same site if they wish.

Flu Vaccine available now

I'm a flu fighter

The Flu vaccine is now available at Felton surgery for those eligible :

  • anyone aged 65 and over
  • pregnant women
  • children and adults with an underlying health condition (particularly long-term heart or respiratory disease)
  • children and adults with weakened immune systems

You may book your appointment via reception by phone or face to face.

NHS Health Checks

The NHS Health Check is a health check up for adults in Englandaged 40 - 74. It is designed to spot early signs of Stroke, Kidney disease, heart disease, Type 2 diabetes or dementia. As we get older we have a higher risk of developing one of these conditions.

An NHS Health Check helps find ways to lower this risk.

If you are inthe 40-74 year age group, without a pre existing condition, you can expect to recieve an invite every 5 years.

Simply ask at Reception for further details and to book your appointment with our Practice Nurse

Shingles Vaccine

Shingles Vaccine Available

The shingles vaccination is available to all eligible patients throughout the year. Please book your appointment at Reception.

Who is eligible?

Patients aged 70 years plus anyone in their 70s who was born after 01 september 1942. Patients remain eligible up until their 80th birthday

Phone text reminders

Felton Surgery

We are pleased to offer a free service of text reminders to help patients remember their appointments. You need only confirm their permission to use their mobile phone number for this purpose once. From then on you will receive a confirmation text when you book an appointment. Please ask reception by phone, e-mail or face to face if you would like to use this free service.
