Improving access to general practice: weekend appointments available

GP Access

Patients who are registered at this practice can now book a routine appointment to see a GP or nurse on a Saturday. Talk to the practice receptionist to find out more or book an appointment.

By March 2019 everyone in England will benefit from access to general practice appointments in the evenings and weekends at a time that is most convenient to them. This is part of a national drive to help improve access to general practice and get the best possible outcomes for patients. Further information is available at

Caxton Carers Group

On the first Thursday of every month between 2.00pm - 3.00pm anyone who is a carer is invited to a meeting in the Caxton Annexe. This meeting will be an opportunity to meet other carers and also an opportunity to speak to the practice's Community Care Co-ordinator who will be able to give advice and signpost carers to support available. Tea and biscuits provided!
