Allocated GP

Practices are required under their contract to allocate a named GP to ALL patients including children. All patients at the surgery have been allocated a named GP in order that patients can have a named responsible GP should they require them.

Having a named GP does not prevent you seeing any other doctor in the practice. Your named GP will not be available at all times and if your needs are urgent, you may need to discuss them with an alternative doctor.

You do not need to take any further action. If you wish to be told the name of your named GP, please ask the receptionists when you are next in the surgery. If you are unhappy with the named doctor allocated to you and would like to change please let Reception staff know.

Thank you

Patient Participation Group (PPG)

Are you interested in hearing more about our Patint Participation Group  (PPG)?

A PPG is a group of patients who work with practice staff and meet at regular intervals to decide ways of making a positive contribution to the services and facilities offered by the practice to patients. However, it may not always be possible for patient to commit time for meetings so we are also looking for  “virtual” members  where opinions and suggestions are captured via email.

If you are interested in finding out more, please contact the surgery and leave your details with the Reception staff and the Practice Manager will contact you.
