Had an appointment for endoscopy for 2.30. told doctor was running late. No indication of how late. Waited till 4 pm still no sign of being seen. The doctor was sauntering about with a cup of tea with no sense of urgency so I advised nurses I was leaving having fasted from 8 am that morning I could not sit there any longer. This is my third visit to this hospital and consultant and both times have been messed about. The waiting room was chaos. Nothing seemed to be happening and my anxiety was rising. This hospital seemed overwhelmed and overbooked. Does not represent good value for the NHS contracting out. Obviously being a private hospital they are only in it for the money I suspect. Have no intention if going there again and will wait for an appointment in a NHS hospital

Every member of staff who attended to me were very kind and professional and helpful. I now have a new hip and cant commend it highly enough. Thank you all.

I had surgery for an umbilical hernia here April '24. Thanks to the operation and the care received I am now fully recovered and hernia free!. Wonderful treatment, not only from the surgeon and his team, but also from all the support staff and nurses. Many, many thanks to all.

I recently had BCC surgery and couldn't fault the consultant and staff from my first consultation to my procedure to my having my stitches out. I felt in safe hands all the time.

I have just visited the hospital for the first time and was impressed by the excellent service of all the members of staff. Very friendly, informative and helpful.

I attended the hospital for dental surgery with sedation. I was impressed from start to finish. Tees Valley hospital is the cleanest hospital I have ever been in. My patient experience was amazing. In spite of being terrified by the procedure I was having done everyone seemed to go out of their way to put me at ease. The key point is that staff, from reception to consultants, were professional and friendly but most important to me - were totally focussed on the patient. No conversations going on with other staff. Everyone seemed to be concentrating on me. I have a lot of medical appointments and procedures and I can't tell you how refreshing it was to be so well looked after at every stage. Amazing dental surgeon as well. I highly recommend this hospital. Thank you.

Brilliant hospital from admin to nurses and specialists. Can not praise highly enough. Care was second to none, Nothing to much trouble. Would not hesitate to go again if needed.

I was in a lot of pain and scared and probably very grumpy but the staff very amazing , from the receptionist to the patient radiographer who put up with my moaning , to the very caring catering staff who got me eating and the anaesthetic staff who held my hand - thank you! The surgeon ensured I fully understood what would happen , the nurses were lovely ,and their attentions to detail and patience were reassuring. The physiotherapist was very encouraging and instilled confidence that made my recovery easier. It was such a pleasure to return for my yearly check up and list everything I did last year with my husband, family and friends, from walking on the Cleveland way to music festivals and camping to being able to return to work and look after my youngest granddaughter- and to get my life back, to live . Thank you all , I remain grateful every single day . If , more likely when , the other hip goes I definitely hope I get the same team .

I had to attend today for a camera procedure. I was extremely anxious on arrival. I didn't find staff at all caring or reassuring. I found the doctor to be quite rude. I wouldn't attend this hospital again.
