Managing Your Campaign

We’ve had a great response to the campaign at a local level and have been getting lots of questions through about campaign support, posters and logos.

To help you implement your campaign quickly and smoothly we’ve pulled together a FAQ based on the questions we get asked on a regular basis:

  1. Please can I have a copy of the campaign logo(s)?

Copies of the campaign logo are available from SHStakeholder@bluerubicon.com. Please state which logo you would like in your email. (Sex Worth Talking About, Chlamydia Worth Talking About, Contraception Worth Talking About).
  2. Can I get a copy of the brand guidelines?

Brand guidelines are available to download from the stakeholder website as a PDF document. These guidelines provide you with all the information you need to make sure your campaign materials carry the same look and feel as the national campaign http://www.nhs.uk/sexualhealthprofessional/Pages/index.aspx
  3. I am writing a leaflet/preparing an advert, do I need to follow your brand guidelines?

If you are planning to use the national brand then you need to use the brand guidelines. Brand guidelines have been drawn up to help ensure that all design and copy remain consistent in the style and tone of voice for all materials produced for the campaign. Brand guidelines can be downloaded from:
    http://www.nhs.uk/sexualhealthprofessional/Pages/index.aspx
  4. Can I have a copy of the artwork/design file for the poster?

Design files are available. Please contact SHStakeholder@bluerubicon.com However, please allow plenty of time for us to get the file to you as the files can be too large to send via email and may need to be posted.

Finally, please check with your designer and state exactly what type of file you need (vector works/psd etc) and which type you want, e.g. the contraception injection poster set in the kitchen.
  5. I want to print off lots of posters professionally and distribute them across my PCT so need a file that I can edit and save. Can I do that?

Yes. Please contact SHStakeholder@bluerubicon.com for a high-quality jpeg of the posters currently shown on the stakeholder website. Please also state the poster type(s) you want.
  6. Are there any pre-printed copies of the advertising posters?

Printed posters featuring of all nine of the Contraception. Worth Talking About and Chlamydia. Worth Talking About print adverts are now available.

Posters have been modified so that there is a white box at the bottom of the adverts to allow you to write in your local service details.

Posters are available free of charge but orders are strictly limited to 15 copies of each poster per organisation. We have a limited print run so please consider how many you really need before you order.

Posters are available to order via the DH order line:
    http://www.orderline.dh.gov.uk/ecom_dh/public/home.jsf
  7. Please can you send me copy of the Healthcare Practitioner campaign pack?

Healthcare Practitioner Information campaign packs will be available until the end of February. Each pack contains a range of leaflets from leading sexual health national organisations (Brook, FPA, National Chlamydia Screening Programme, Parentline Plus, Terrence Higgins Trust,) are available to order from SHStakeholder@bluerubicon.com.
Please note; packs are strictly limited to one pack per order.
  8. Do you have any branded campaign leaflets?

We are currently producing three types of concertina cards, for teenagers, young adults and healthcare professionals.

All have been drafted with input from either young people or healthcare professionals in order to give people support to make it easier to have conversations about sexual health, relationships, contraception and chlamydia testing.

The concertina cards are due to be printed at the start of March, we will send an e-mail alert with order details when they arrive. (Please do not send order requests through to SHStakeholder@bluerubicon.com as this will slow down your order).
  9. Can I buy extra advertising space on my local radio station and get national radio adverts broadcast in my area?

You will not be able to use the radio adverts on local radio stations during the election period.

Local guidance about communicating throughout the election period should be sought from your PCT communications team or from the director of communications at your relevant Strategic Health Authority.
  10. My local cinema has offered me a free slot to show the Contraception/Chlamydia Worth Talking About advert. Can I do that? Do you have the advert on 35mm film?

The cinema adverts cannot be aired during the election period.
