    I recently contacted the surgery for an urgent prescription for my sister and was advised not to use Well pharmacy as they had said they were taking 2 weeks to turn round a prescription ... you be the judge

    I spoke to my doctor regards a prescription sent to the Pharmacy on Monday (this was Friday). I said I would go and collect it, this was 1:20pm but was advised by the surgery that they would be closing at 1pm through shortage of pharmacists. I got there at 1:40 but staff had locked the doors as they wanted to make sure there were no more customers in store at 1pm! I and someone who was also there for a prescription squeezed in and were served by 1pm with a few minutes to spare. My prescription wasnt ready, I then watched as 2 boxes were labelled, popped in a bag and handed to me in two minutes (3 mins to 1pm).

    Visited my doctor one week ago and saw him enter a request for prescriptions to be filled at this pharmacy. Despite giving my mobile phone number several times, I always have to ring to see if my prescriptions are ready. This time I had three items to collect. After one week with no contact from the pharmacy, I rang at 9am to see of the prescriptions were ready and was told they would be ready in 30 minutes (after one week waiting for medication!). Because of previous experiences I left it for 90 minutes before going to collect them. I still had to wait 10 minutes until they were "checked". When I got outside and checked the contents, one item was missing. I went back in and was told they were still working on it and it would be another 10 minutes despite four people chatting in the corner. This after already being told that it would be ready at 0930hrs. Far from being the first time this thing has happened and two people in front of me were complaining about the poor standard of service.
