    Dreadful chemist, not enough staff to cope with the work load. Lacking in basic customer service, waiting ages for the phone to be answered then cut off and then an engaged tone. Medications not in stock so that leads to more waiting time.

    Over the weekend of 20th November I made an online request, through Patient Access, for two repeat prescriptions. This morning (5th December), having heard nothing from Well (no text or phone call), I phoned Well and learned that my prescription was ready for collection! Well acknowledged that they had not texted me and said that they would scan the items to force a text. No text received. This afternoon, I collected my prescription which carried the date - 22nd November. As usual, there was a queue and everyone had to wait an age for their presence, to be acknowledged. No apology. Unfortunately, too few people complain about the abysmal service because they do not know about this page.

    On more than one occasion I have requested a repeat prescription via Patient Access, allowing plenty of time (10 working days) for the prescription to be filled, yet it has not been ready. When you attend to collect the prescription there are plenty of staff but they appear to ignore the patients waiting to be served. Very poor management.

    Frequently fail to have medicines available where a script was issued 2 to 3 weeks previous. Constantly out of stock of items that should be stocked, don’t open weekends or evenings and never answer the telephone which rings constantly. Ignore customers waiting to be served, and blame “ staff shortages “ for incompetence. Probably the worst pharmacy I have ever used or ever will.
