   I had a 12:30 appointment to have my covid booster and when I arrived the queue was back to the entrance to the lobby from the street. The receptionist was dour, no patient facing skills at all. I did not wait and I called in to the pharmacy on Sydenham Road on my way home and told them what the situation was like at the covid booster site to be told that they were taking walk ins as well as those with appointments with no priority for those with appointments. For an organisation with government funding for providing a service this is no way to spend tax and precious NHS money. Is this an example of government funding being used to provide an income for the pharmacy by providing a poorly managed service?
