All of the staff go above and beyond to help their customers. I personally have a lot of contact with the various members of pharmacy staff, due to me being responsible for my family medications, as well as my own. The care that was shown this weekend by the pharmacist to myself (Saturday 4th November 2023), when I presented with breathing issues, quite possibly kept me out of hospital. He recognised immediately that I was very poorly and insisted I called 111. I took his advice and was prescribed high dosage steroids. 24 hours later I’m feeling much better. We are so lucky to have such a fantastic service with such caring and knowledgeable professionals. I can’t thank them enough

Review titled Tesco Pharmacy Uttoxeter - Appalling service

Last week, at around 20:30 I needed to get some emergency medication for my husband. I checked the website for the pharmacy which showed that it was open until 22:30, however, when I arrived at 21:15 it was closed. I re-checked the website and it did indeed state that it should have been open. This week I have been to the pharmacy on 3 separate occasions only to find that it is closed and would not be open either at all that day or until the afternoon - the website still states that it's open until 22:30!! Also last week I went to the pharmacy for some medication that I required and they refused to dispense it to me. I then went to another pharmacy in Uttoxeter and got the medication without any problem. Today my husband, who has leukaemia, went to the pharmacy with an official chit from The Christie Hospital for some cream which he needs for his condition and was refused. He then went to another pharmacy in Uttoxeter and was able to get this cream without any problem. Given that a pharmacy is an essential service, this pharmacy needs to start significantly improve their service. For it to be shown on the website that it is open and it not to be is extremely unprofessional - how hard is it to update the website? My journey to Tesco's is an 8 mile round trip which has been wasted on multiple occasions, and to make matters worse the notice that was stuck to the pharmacy window said to go to the pharmacy at Tesco in Mere - a 23 mile round trip! I await your comments on this, would urge you to deal with this as a matter of urgency and take steps to ensure the pharmacy provides the necessary service that is required and stated on the website.
