My 91 year old mother was refused to have her medication in a blister pack by the pharmacist at this chemist. It was refused because she doesn’t take enough medication to justify a blister pack .My mother takes 13 tablets a day and I am not always available to supervise her medication as I live a distance away. The pharmacist did not include in this assessment the fact that my mother was getting very anxious at what time she takes her medication and whether she has took her medication or not. So by having a blister pack this would help alleviate her anxiety, help with her being independent and most importantly it would prevent her from becoming ill due to her forgetting to take her medication or overdosing, which would prevent a hospitalisation. There seemed a lack of motivation and enthusiasm by the pharmacist throughout my contact with her. She obviously needs to be more compassionate towards her job and the general public she serves
