Review titled Introduced plastic bags for dispensing medicine
Rated 2 stars out of 5

Disappointed to find out that the Cooks Medipharmacy will now dispense medication in plastic bags instead of paper. An unexplainable decision - we are drowning in plastic waste, most businesses are moving away from plastic and the group decided to start using plastic bags! They assured me that it was recyclable if people brough it back to them. (And also one can drop them in supermarkets). But it is a poor excuse. Paper is so much easier to recycle - it can be collected at curb side - no need to take it anywhere. It can also be composted. Plastic bags are so much harder to recycle. We should not be adding plastic where it is not necessary - and here - where paper bags have been used for decades - it is definitely not necessary. I will be asking my GP to send my prescriptions to a different local pharmacy. It is very sad, I have been a client for years. Very disappointed.
