Cohens chemist at Abbeymeads is painfully slow. Staff appear to have no sense of urgency no matter how long the queue is even though you have to queue outside in all weather conditions.

I had to order an emergency lot of tablets for my partner late sat night as she had run out was able to collect that evening as open till 11pm tho I thought they were 24 hours 11 was good then found yesterday late that the 111 people hadn't given enough for the 2 nights so phoned them at the pharmacy the lady said for me to ring 111 as the prescription was only for 3 tablets I did this and managed to get the tablets just before they shut at 6pm yesterday. I don't know what I would have done if they weren't there as my partner can't sleep with out theses pills. Thank you for ur help

This is a great pharmacy. I have noticed that they have several new staff who try very hard to help. I went in to the pharmacy on Sunday to pick up my prescription which wasn't there. The lady on the till done a search to see if she coukd find out where my doctor had sent my prescription to. They had sent it to a pharmacy near where I live which was closed. She did something and was able to get my prescription from this pharmacy which she then put together for me and a nice young man then gave me my prescription. I was very grateful as I had run out of my medication. I have seen this lady in the pharmacy several times on a weekend I don't know if that is the only time she works but is a very helpful and friendly lady. We'll done and thank you

I have been with Cohen's Crown Heights a reasonable amount of time to make an informed judgement and have found their delivery service to be inefficient, unreliable and unpredictable. There is definitely something wrong with their ordering, processing and allocation for delivery service which needs to be addressed. I have found you can place an order, receive an immediate notification that the order has been received, another message stating the prescription has been sent to the doctor and then wait 7 days to get notification that the prescription is ready to be delivered on such and such a day, which it never is and means your life comes to a standstill whilst you dare not go out in case the delivery driver calls. Last time I walked to the pharmacy to collect as they hadn't called, the assistant disappeared for quite some time to reappear with my order which she said was down to be delivered the next day, this was four days after the date they originally stated. I don't think the order was even processed and that's why I hadn't received it. I can't see any improvement in the foreseeable future so am switching back to my original pharmacy, I only changed because Cohen's was nearer to my doctors surgery, a big mistake which I wish I hadn't made.

Cohen’s Basingstoke has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Staff seem clueless about what is being asked. Ordered a prescription from GP which was sent down same day went to pick up 5 days later. Item wasn’t done and couldn’t find it. Told to go back to GP, confirmed it had gone to cohens then given code and had to them join long queue again. Told it would take 20-30 minutes but came back 1 1/2hrs later and then couldn’t find it. This is happening constantly every time I go in. One staff member in particular I try not to be served by as she is completely clueless. Pharmacist on one occasion disappeared into consult room with staff member and no prescriptions could be signed off. After 30 minutes waiting we walked out. Phones not answered at weekends as they have told people they just turn the ringer off so they don’t hear it. Unfortunately this is not a random experience for the chemist and is ongoing problem which needs to be resolved. Most of their experienced staff have left leaving very green and not very helpful staff. Also very short staffed and having to close early due to “unforeseen circumstances” or just closed on one day and that they will reopen at a certain time and still open 30-40 minutes late. Needs a manager that can take this on and sort out the problems that have occurred since the last pharmacy manager retired.
