    Disabled parking spaces are always occupied with non blue badge cars. All day (presumably staff cars) I never manage to get my prescription in one visit, they have serious supply issues. I now use a different pharmacy that doesn't have supply issues and doesn't allow staff to park in designated blue badge spaces

    Thank you for your feedback. I have spoken to the manager and it seems that there is an issue with the parking in the health centre area, but can assure you that the staff are not and would not park in a designated disabled parking bay. With regards to your medication not being available - I am very sorry to read this, unfortunately as I am not aware of which medication it is that your complaint relates to I can't investigate this further. All pharmacies at the moment are experiencing supply issues with the supply of certain medications. Different pharmacies companies have stronger buying power that enables them to obtain stock of some medication before other chains. I can assure you that all our teams work hard to get a supply for their patients - I am sorry this has not been the case for you. Thank you for your feedback The Cohens Group

    I have been collecting the same medication from Cohens (Victoria Cres. Barnsley) for the past 3 years and after repeatedly telephoning to see if it was ready I went in to collect my prescription 7 days later. One of the staff requested my name walked away, obviously forgot my name, returning to check and then informed me to take a seat because the pharmacist needed to check it. After waiting for an hour during which time the pharmacist… Issued a total of 3 prescriptions! Talked to one member of staff about holidays for almost 10 minutes Took two telephone calls Two other people complained about their wait, then 10 minutes later I complained, only to be told that they had staff shortages (7 staff were working in the pharmacy apparently preparing medication) and that this was the norm. I stated that this wasn’t normal and that I had never experienced such a delay. The pharmacist replied stating that they could return my prescription and I could collect it from elsewhere. I said that sounded as if it still hadn’t been prepared at all. She said that it had, but the person in front of me (who had also complained about the delay) had a large prescription to prepare. I said that I felt that my prescription should already have been prepared given that it had been 7 days and the fact that I was waiting behind someone in the waiting room suggested that they hadn’t even bothered to prepare it until I attended the pharmacy. 5 minutes later it was ready and the member of staff gave me a patronising “thank you” and a smirk, making it very obvious. I went straight to my GP and I will be using a different pharmacy in future. I am not an unreasonable person, but dislike both the way I was treated and spoken to. The staff were unapologetic and treated me as if I was being unreasonable. Awful service throughout.

    having put prescription in 7 days prior then queing up [allways mega busy] they dont have tablets and say maybe tomorow my partner needs them everyday so did not take the risk and went to another chemist. not the first time that they have not got items in, will try and get another chemist soon
