  1. Review titled Appalling service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The service provided by Chipping Norton pharmacy is appalling. This last Saturday I queued for 40 minutes. When it was my turn I was told my repeat prescription wasn't ready (I had ordered it 5 working days previously) so I waited for it to be done only to be told that one item on my prescription was out of stock - this was a very common blood pressure medication. Of the seven people ahead of me in the queue only one received their prescription. Of the others one was raising a formal complaint because her father had been given the wrong medication, several pre-ordered repeat prescriptions had been received and prepared but could not be located in the pharmacy, some were not ready, others like mine were out of stock. So I took my prescription to the Topside Pharmacy in Chipping Norton square. No queue, the medication was in stock and the service was careful and courteous. You don't have to use the Chipping Norton pharmacy. There are other options - you can tell the surgery to nominate another pharmacy as your default pharmacy. The people running the Chipping Norton pharmacy don't seem to care. Their systems are chaotic and they do nothing to sort them out. Their service is unreliable. Simply not acceptable.
