Went to collect prescription which had been approved 8 days previously, only to be told problem with supplier. Contact GP for alternative. Not a good service to be told this on Saturday when GP not available, surely the Pharmacy should be proactive in notifying the GP or the patient of supply problems. I had been away receiving medical treatment during the week and was left without medication for the weekend. Needless to say I will be changing my nominated Pharmacy in the hope of receiving better customer service. .

I went to the pharmacist with a query, and they were no help. I was given some eye drops which I told the woman I already have, she said to me 'well what else do you want'. I had done prior research and asked for a cream instead. I asked if this is better than the drops as they don't seem to be working well and she said, 'not sure you'll have to try them'. Clearly knows nothing. Won't be coming back.

Dear patient, I am so sorry to hear of your experience at the pharmacy. I am one of the pharmacists and I do not expect my staff to respond in this way. I will try to identify the staff member responsible and make sure that they are trained properly. Please, always ask to speak to the pharmacist if you are not satisfied with the response or need further advice. For the last 2 and a half weeks the girls at the Centre Pharmacy have been dressing an open wound on my back that the doctors ‘don’t do dressings’ for and The Treatment centres are full when you call for an appointment! The staff are just so friendly and helpful that it is a pleasure to go there.
