    At 13.15 I arrived to collect my mothers Ventolin prescription. The pharmacy worker just opening the locked door told me that despite my plea for assistance with my desperately poorly mother I had to wait until 13.30 reopening time. A phone call had been made ahead of my arrival to be clear about the urgency, but just a refusal to help. Disgraceful. The assist then attempted to delay me by asking a number of questions that nobody at the pharmacy had ever asked before, including repeatedly insisting that I did not know how to spell my mother’s surname. A home prescription delivery service now makes sense.

    I am sorry to hear about your experience but you seem to have the WRONG PHARMACY. We are never closed during the day. No phone was received either and none of my assistants recall any such incident.

    Though not my nearest pharmacy, chose them for my repeat prescriptions because I was impressed with their competence and helpfulness, e.g. at first when there were glitches due to my house move and change of GP. Quick and helpful with non-prescription medication and flu vaccine. A pleasure to deal with.

    Thank you. I hope any problems were quickly sorted out and I hope you will be happy with our prescription service in the future. We continually review our systems and hope to make any changes for a better setrvice.
